Fireship of Baie des Chaleurs / Chaleur Phantom

The Chaleur Phantom is a ghost light phenomenon that sometimes is said to manifest as a phantom ship. The lights are seen at Bathurst, which is located in the New Brunswick province of Canada. Most commonly they appear as bright light, but witnesses have also reported seeing a flaming three-mast ship. Among other phenomena, it is said if you dip your feet in Chaleur Bay, you can hear the screams of burning ship passengers.
